Konami Digital Entertainment announced the start of the campaign Road to Worlds at Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS and Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL. This series of events is part of the qualification process to Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 which will take place in Paris, France.
Road to Worlds 2025 Trailer
Konami has released the official trailer Road to Worlds 2025 which features full details on the qualification schedule, limited in-game prizes, and visual highlights of the qualifiers. Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS and MASTER DUEL. The video also shows an exclusive card display and announces the location of the world tournament finals.
Events in Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL
In the series Road to Worlds, Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL presents a login event starting May 27, 2025. Players will receive the following prizes:
- Card Red Supernova Dragon (UR Royal Finish)
- Exclusive icon
- 1000 Gems
After the login event, the official qualification goes to Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 will take place through the following two stages of in-game competitive events:
- Stage 1: June 4-16, 2025
- Stage 2: June 13-16, 2025
These qualifiers are conducted directly in the competitive ranked system in-game and are open to all players from all regions.
Events on Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS
At Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS, there are two login event formats that differ based on the type of duel:
- RUSH DUEL: from May 9, 2025, rewards Master of the Sevens Road
- SPEED DUEL: starting May 17, 2025, prizes Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory (special finish)
Players can also claim a number of additional prizes, among them:
- Dream UR Tickets (Glossy)
- SR/UR Tickets (Prismatic)
- 1000 Gems
- 100 Box Chips
- Special card effects: Aurora Processing, Rim Color Gold, and Name Color Gold
Qualification Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 for both duel formats (SPEED DUEL and RUSH DUEL) will begin on May 26, 2025 through a live in-game competitive event.
2025 World Championship Location and Schedule
Final Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 will be held in Paris, France, from August 29 to 31, 2025. Players who make it through the in-game qualification process will be invited directly to compete in this global event.
