Remedy Entertainment released a new trailer titled “Altered State” for the game CONTROL Resonant. This trailer aired during the gamescom Opening Night Live event. The trailer’s background music features the song “Omen” by The Prodigy. The public will also have their first chance to try out CONTROL Resonant in person at this year’s gamescom.
Dylan Faden Faces the Paranormal World
CONTROL Resonant is the sequel to the game CONTROL. Players will control a character named Dylan Faden. Dylan faces large-scale paranormal forces. He will engage in a variety of surreal and reality-bending battles throughout the story.
Quick Action and Aberrant Power in Altered State
Players will master various forms of Aberrant powers. These powers help players battle powerful enemies and massive bosses. The “Altered State” trailer showcases fast-paced action and dynamic combat styles. The video also highlights powerful finishing moves and unexpected threats throughout the game.
The public can try out CONTROL Resonant firsthand at the Level Infinite booth. The booth is located in Hall 6 at gamescom. This demo marks the first opportunity for the public to play the game.
ZA/UM Atelier’s Fashion Collection Inspired by CONTROL Resonant
Remedy Entertainment is partnering with ZA/UM Atelier for a clothing collection. This collection consists of five made-to-order garments. The designs are inspired by the uniforms of the Federal Bureau of Control in the CONTROL Resonant universe.
This collection will be on display at gamescom from August 26–30, 2026, and pre-orders are now open through ZA/UM Atelier.
Editions, Pre-Order Bonuses, and Release Schedule
CONTROL Resonant will be released digitally worldwide on September 24, 2026. Physical versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will follow on October 15, 2026. The game will also support the GeForce NOW service starting on launch day, while Mac versions for Steam and the App Store will follow later this year.
Every game pre-order will include several bonus items:
- Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact
- Hiss Corruption Outfit for Dylan
- Occult Outfit, exclusively for PlayStation players
This game is also available in several editions:
- Standard Edition (Digital and Physical) — including the base game
