Sequel anime Ronin Warriors is set to premiere in January 2026. This is the official continuation after more than 37 years since the original anime ended. The Ronin Warriors anime sequel presents an original story that is not directly connected to the plot of the previous series. Set in present-day Shinjuku, the anime introduces a new character named Gai.
He is a 14-year-old teenager who was chosen as a Samurai Trooper and wears the Armor of Inferno to fight the demon group called Youja. Gai also has a distinctive taste that is different from most people.

About Samurai Troopers
Ronin Warriors is the international name of the anime classic Yoroiden Samurai Troopers which first aired in Japan from April 30, 1988 to March 4, 1989, with a total of 39 episodes.
A manga adaptation of the series was published in the magazine Comic BomBom from November 1988 to April 1990. The story follows Arago, the Emperor of Doom, who was sealed away for a thousand years and returned to conquer the human world.
The original version of the series is available for streaming through the platform Crunchyroll.
