Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE officially launches on PC through Steam and Microsoft Store on November 17, 2025 at a price of $39.99. PS5 and Xbox Series versions are scheduled to follow in 2026.
Netmarble emphasized this is a separate premium title from the mobile version of Solo Leveling: ARISE, with no gacha system; character, Hunter, and weapon progress is unlocked through play. Pre-ordering the "Deluxe Edition" for $44.99 offers early access from November 14 plus bonus cosmetics and profile items. Internet connection required.
Premium identity that is different from the mobile version
Netmarble Neo put the focus on a full PC/console experience, with controls designed for pads and keyboards, weightier combat, and improved visual presentation. The studio states OVERDRIVE is not a port of ARISE, but rather a standalone project by a separate team. This approach targets players who are looking for effort-based progress, rather than RNG.
Crafting weapons from boss materials, hunter recruitment with in-game "payments", and build development through the skill tree are the pillars of progress. Player strategy plays a big role in the variety of fighting styles.

Deep Combat: parry, Overdrive, and Chain Smash
The parry system brings moments of precise timing, triggering QTEs for counters upon successful execution. Monarch Transformation allows Sung Jinwoo to access the devastating skills of the Monarch of Shadows with enhanced impact effects.
The Overdrive System enriches build variety: special bars can be filled to trigger peak moves according to the skill tree; each Hunter has a unique Overdrive, such as Choi Jong-In summoning a meteor after Burn accumulation. Chain Smash adds depth to combos through post-skill follow-up inputs; the neater the sequence, the higher the output. The hit/damage feedback is tuned to make the hit feel more pronounced, aiding readability amidst the visual effects.
Story content, four-player co-op, and customization
The release campaign features Chapters 1 through 10, building on the previous one-chapter demo. The world map and storyline attempt to be faithful to the webtoon source, with environments laid out in greater detail for immersion. A co-op mode for up to four players opens up free-form options between Sung Jinwoo and the Hunters to conquer dungeons and bosses.
Companion "Yaruru" is also present as a helper who picks up items and resources after the acquisition conditions are met. Character customization gives Sung Jinwoo room for personalization through hairstyle, hair color, and facial accessories, as well as hair color options for the Hunter.
Release notes, Deluxe edition, and what to look forward to
The PC release date is set for November 17, 2025, while PS5 and Xbox Series releases are planned for 2026. The Deluxe Edition adds three days early access, an exclusive Sung Jinwoo costume: Overdrive, facial accessories, two hairstyles, Cha Hae-In emoji set, Yaruru "Predator Tank" companion, and profile items.
An online connection is required; details of the offline mode have not been outlined. Information worth waiting for includes cross-play/cross-save support, endgame details after Chapter 10, graphics options for PC, and post-release monetization policy. The inter-platform release lag could potentially allow time for PC feedback-based balancing.
The combination of gacha-free progression, skill expression-based combat, and co-op content makes Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE appeal to action fans and webtoon fans alike. Players who prefer a one-time premium experience will find value in the "full-package" structure offered.
