The first position on this list of the 50 most popular demos is occupied by Marathon. Based on the order on the official Steam Next Fest page, this game managed to record the highest number of players compared to thousands of other demos.

This achievement makes Marathon the most played title by PC users during the festival period.
Presence of Popular Franchises from Big Publishers
This list of the most popular demos is also enlivened by several big titles from well-known publishers. Capcom participated by presenting PRAGMATA and Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
Both games received immediate rave reviews from their loyal fan base. In addition to this, Saber Interactive also showed off through their John Carpenter's Toxic Commando which offers intense cooperative action.
The presence of these AAA-scale projects makes the competition to enter the top 50 list even tougher.

Players gave many positive responses to the game's exploration of the maritime world. Other unique titles such as Burglin’ Gnomes also managed to secure a high position on this list.
