Strange Antiquities, the standalone sequel to Strange Horticulture, will be released on September 17 for Nintendo Switch and PC through Steam. Game This is an occult mystery with puzzle elements, set in a small town filled with secrets and supernatural occurrences.

Strange Antiquities Story

Players take on the role of a shopkeeper Strange Antiquities in the town of Undermere. Shopkeeper Eli White leaves town to investigate signs of menace such as the appearance of ominous crows, mysterious illnesses, and the darkness that envelops people's homes.

As an apprentice thaumaturge, the player is entrusted with managing the shop during Eli White's departure. The town of Undermere sits on the shores of a lake as well as on the boundary between the real world and the otherworld, so interactions with supernatural events are part of the daily routine.

Gameplay

Every day, players will serve customers who come in with various requests for occult artifacts. This task involves examining the details of the artifacts, identifying their origins, and recording them using references from the shop's collection of illustrated books.

In addition, players will make decisions that affect relationships with townspeople, explore outside the shop to find artifacts or investigate rumors, and solve puzzles related to the history of the shop building.
