Good news for gamers! Marvel Games and NetEase Games has just announced full details for the fourth season of their Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter game, Marvel Rivals. The season titled "Heart of the Dragon" will officially launch on September 12, 2025. This announcement brings with it tons of new content, and most notably, the game will finally be available for PlayStation 4 console players.
Angela, the warrior of Asgard, joins forces
Season 4 will introduce a powerful new hero, Angela. As a warrior from Asgard, Angela belongs to the formidable Vanguard class. Her unique ability is to manipulate IchorsAngela can use her weapons, a type of liquid metal, to transform into a variety of deadly weapons. Angela can fight on the ground or in the air, turning her weapon into a spear to pierce enemy lines or into a shield to withstand attacks. When the situation is critical, she can descend from the sky with a double axe to protect her teammates.
Time to Play on the PlayStation 4 Console
One of the biggest updates this season is the availability of Marvel Rivals Starting September 12, 2025, PS4 console users can download and play the game immediately. This opens up access for millions of new players around the world to experience the excitement of battles between heroes and villains in the Marvel Multiverse. New Maps and Gameplay Updates
Not only that, a new map for Convergence mode called "K'un-Lun: Heart of Heaven" will also be released on September 25. This map takes place in the mystical city at the center of Season 4's story. In addition, there are many updates to the gameplay. Arcade mode will be enriched with permanent modes such as Clone Rumble and Giant-Size Brain Blast. Two new modes are also introduced, namely Free Fight which allows hero duplication, and Conquest (Annihilation) where players collect points from knockouts. Season 4's story will take players deeper into the cosmic conflict. The emergence of heavenly cities like K'un-Lun attracts the attention of Doctor Doom, who has evil plans for the immortal dragon, Shou-Lao. The story will also reveal the connection between Angela and the mystery of Iron Fist's adopted baby, as well as the true identity of Dizang, the ruler of the Eighth City, who turns out to be Daredevil.
