Anime adaptation The Ramparts of Ice is finally getting a confirmed release date. This latest information confirms the release date as well as the distribution platform for global audiences.
Along with the news, new visuals and a promotional trailer have also been unveiled. These promotional materials are here to complement the visual teasers that had previously circulated.
The Ramparts of Ice Story and Trailer
Anime The Ramparts of Ice is scheduled to premiere on April 2. This will be done through the Netflix streaming service.
Unlike some other titles that are often released as a full season, this series will air a new episode every week.
The focus of the story is on the character of Koyuki Hikawa. She is a first-year high school student who earned the nickname “Queen” in her school.
This nickname was given due to her cold nature and tendency to build boundaries with others. Koyuki avoids unnecessary social interactions and prefers to spend time only with her childhood friend, Miki Azumi.
Things start to change when a friendly classmate tries to get into her life. Minato Amamiya starts approaching Koyuki, followed by the presence of Yota Hino who has a laid-back personality.
The interactions between these four characters-Koyuki, Miki, Minato, and Yota-are the core of the story's narrative. They begin to live high school life together and face the typical ups and downs of adolescence.
This meeting slowly forms an unexpected friendship between them. This also melts the cold attitude that has been Koyuki's self-defense.

The anime is being done by Studio KAI, which is fully responsible for the animation production. The production team has lined up a key staff to handle various technical and creative aspects of the project.

About The Ramparts of Ice Manga
The anime story is adapted from the manga of the same name, known in Japan as Koori no Jyoheki. This manga is the work of Kocha Agasawa.
Before getting a full serialization, the work debuted as a digital webtoon. The official serialization of the manga then took place on the digital comic platform Line Manga.
Publication began on January 10, 2020 and runs for approximately two years until the story ends on April 28, 2022.
With an air date in April, this anime will be one of the titles that fill the Spring lineup this year. For those of you who follow the manga, this adaptation is coming soon to Netflix.
