Kadokawa finally shares important details for the anime GHOST CONCERT: missing Songs. Through the latest promotional video, they revealed the air date and the cast lineup that will enliven the series.
Anime The music-themed series is scheduled to premiere on April 5. The video also plays the theme song that the series is known for.
The Opening song “Gokkon REQUIEMER” is sung by the main character Seria Aiba (voiced by Minori Fujidera). While the Ending song “Ibara no Michi” is performed by Odysseus (voiced by Minako Kotobuki).
Synopsis of GHOST CONCERT: missing Songs
The story takes place in the year 2045. In this world, singing songs live is banned. The role of humans in music is completely replaced by an application called “MiucS”.
The focus of the story follows a high school student named Seria Aiba. One day, Seria hears mysterious chanting-something that should be illegal. The source of the sound turned out to be a “Great Ghost” that appeared from outside this world.
Kadokawa described the project as a new entry in the “song battle series”, following in the footsteps of the Symphogear. Seria has the ability to see spirits and becomes involved with Cleopatra, the Great Ghost who possesses her.

Prior to this anime announcement, the franchise's official website had been inactive since May 2020. The return of this franchise in TV anime format is certainly an interesting surprise. For music and action fans, this series is worth looking forward to.
