NetEase Games and Naked Rain has officially announced the release date ANANTA. This urban open-world RPG is set to launch globally on January 15, 2027. ANANTA will be available on the official PC client, Steam, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. To date, ANANTA has reached 17 million pre-registrations from 110 countries and regions.

Along with the release date announcement, the development team released a new story trailer. This trailer introduces Chongxiao, the second city in the game ANANTA. Chongxiao features a strong Chinese cultural atmosphere. This city rounds out the open world of ANANTA, which had previously introduced its first city.
Gameplay Concept: Become an Influencer in a Modern City
ANANTA is built around the central concept of “Go Viral, Save the World.” Players take on the role of a content creator in a modern city dominated by algorithms and online culture. Every mission, crisis, and urban adventure offers the chance to build reputation and social influence. This reputation unlocks access to new resources and exclusive perks for influencers.
Players can recruit various agents to rebuild the A.C.D. team. Players can also switch between playable characters. Each character has a different perspective, story, and style of exploration and combat. The martial arts combat system in ANANTA is dynamic. Players can utilize their surroundings and turn everyday objects into improvised weapons.
The cities in ANANTA are inspired by real-world metropolises such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Tokyo. Each city has its own unique culture, atmosphere, and challenges.
