A demo for DELIVERY MUST BE COMPLETED, a cel-shaded aerial combat roguelike action game, is coming to PC via Steam in January 2027. As reported by Gematsu, the news was announced at Top Hat Studios Presents: Fall Showcase 2026. The exact demo date and the full game's release schedule have not been announced yet.
A Courier in the Middle of a Battlefield
The game's Steam page describes it as a blend of Devil May Cry and Ace Combat. You play as the Courier, with one mission: deliver the package. The problem is that the destination lies right in the middle of a great war, where squadrons of elite pilots from around the world fill the skies.
Crashing and burning is only a temporary setback, because warp technology will pull you right back. No matter how far you fly or how many elite pilots are sent to stop you, the package must get through. Preferably before it gets cold.
Key Features of DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE
- Style in the skies: weave, destroy, dodge and parry every attack. Fly like a true ace to rack up style points and raise your style rank.
- Skies that are never the same: every map is procedurally generated. Changing weather, varied clouds, terrain anomalies and random events across four environment zones make the battlefield different every run.
- Drift and boost: pull tight turns with drifts, then blast through the clouds with boosts.
- Diverse enemies: from fighter planes and airships to dragons and mechs.
- Aircraft upgrades: grow your fleet of aircraft and make it stronger.
