A Nostalgic Journey to Different Generations of Pokemon

As one of Pokemon's special projects, Kairyu to Yubinyasan offers more than just a heartwarming story. The anime is specifically designed to take viewers on a journey through the various eras of Pokemon. This was confirmed by director Taku Kimura, who explained that the project was designed to reflect the long legacy of the Pokemon franchise.

"Since it's the 29th anniversary, we tried to include Pokemon from various series. Structurally, the story is designed to gradually retrace the previous series, starting from the region of Paldea," Kimura said. This statement shows how the anime not only focuses on one generation, but also brings in elements from previous series, providing nostalgia for longtime fans.

Not only that, one of the most attention-grabbing scenes in this anime is the appearance of Kyogre. Kentaro Nana, who was in charge of the script, gave his views on this scene.

"Visually, this scene makes a strong impression, and I felt that it was perfect to include in the most thrilling part of the story. Director Kimura added a great directorial touch, so I hope viewers will enjoy it."

With Kimura's signature direction, this scene is one of the most dramatic moments in the anime, which is expected to leave a lasting impression on the audience.

Pokemon's Role in the Entertainment Industry

Since his debut in 1996 with Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green on the Game Boy, Pokémon has grown into a global franchise that includes video games, anime, feature films, collectible card games (Trading Card Game), to various merchandise. The Pokémon Company, in collaboration with Nintendo and Game Freak, continues to strengthen the franchise's popularity through various innovations and new projects.

Kairyu to Yubinyasan is one example of how Pokemon continues to experiment with different storytelling styles. Unlike the main Pokemon series that focuses on the journey of a Trainer, this anime features a more cinematic approach with an emotional and touching plot.
