Anime Festival Asia Indonesia (AFAID) 2025 will be a highly anticipated event for anime fans. The reason is, this event will air Tougen Anki world premiere first episode, an anime adaptation of Yura Urushibara's manga. World Premiere at AFAID 2025
AFAID 2025 which will take place at the Jakarta Convention Center on June 6 to 8, 2025, with Day Stage on June 7, 2025, will be the first location in the world to air the premiere episode of the Tougen Anki. What it is Tougen Anki?
Tougen Anki Manga by Yura Urushibara was first serialized on Weekly Shonen Champion in June 2020 and has reached 22 volumes as of April 2025. The story follows the journey of Shiki Ichinose, an Oni raised by a father of the Momotaro bloodline. Although it is common for those with Momotaro blood to hunt Oni, Shiki's father chooses to raise him, even though they are from a group considered enemies.
The loss of his father leads Shiki on a journey to control the power within him and find out more about his destiny, all while seeking revenge. This conflict-filled story focuses on the battle between Shiki's powers and his quest to find the truth behind his life.
