You and Idol Precure♪ is the 22nd installment in the franchise Precure which will premiere on February 2, 2025 on Asahi TV. The anime is produced by Toei Animation and presents a new concept that combines idol elements with the typical magical girl transformation. Precure.

Synopsis
In Hanamichi Town, a junior high school student named Uta Sakura was walking her dog Kyū-chan when she discovered a giant peach-shaped object floating in the river. From within it emerges Purirun, the fairy of the Approximate Land who came looking for Idol Precure legendary.
At the same time, the Chokkiri Gang, a group led by Darkiine, attacked Hanamichi Town and stole the "sparkle" from the residents. Uta, who didn't want to see her town lose its light and spirit, exclaimed, "I want to shine! With my song!", and transformed into Cure Idol.

The opening song was performed by Chihaya Yoshitake, Ami Ishii, and Akane Kumadawith Yoshitake and Ishii having previously been involved in the project. Precure, while Kumada made his debut in this franchise. Closing song, Trio Dreams, sung live by Misato Matsuoka, Minami Takahashi, and Natsumi Takamori, who also voices the main character.
