In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the series anime popular Assassination Classroom confirmed to be back with a project new movie. This announcement brings news of an adaptation of a story that has never appeared in the anime version, providing fresh content for fans.

Assassination Classroom New Movie Details: Minna no Jikan

This information was first revealed in the 41st issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, announcing a new movie titled Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu Minna no Jikan (Assassination Classroom the Movie: Everybody's Time). The movie is scheduled for release in Japan on March 20, 2026.

According to Yusei Matsui, the author of the original manga, the movie is not only a project celebration, but also a continuation of the main story. The movie will contain a complete collection of episodes that were previously cut from the TV series due to time constraints.

This means that viewers will be presented with entirely new material in an animated format, rather than a retelling.

Serial Assassination Classroom tells the story of the students of Class 3E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School. They are given a special mission by the government: to kill their teacher, a tentacled creature that moves at Mach 20.

This being, nicknamed Koro-sensei, has already destroyed most of the moon and threatens to do the same to Earth within a year. While teaching academic subjects, Koro-sensei also trains his students in various assassination techniques.

Original manga Assassination Classroom by Yusei Matsui was published in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2016. Its popularity resulted in extensive adaptations, including two anime series season (2015 and 2016), an anime film in November 2016, as well as two films live-action released in March 2015 and March 2016.
