ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) held a virtual event at CES 2026 (Las Vegas, January 6, 2026) with the theme of Dare to Innovate. This event also marks ROG's 20-year journey in gaming. In this virtual event, ROG showcased various updates to its ecosystem, including laptops, desktops, motherboards, and peripherals.

In the midst of this celebration, the most prominent device update was the ROG Zephyrus line, a line of laptops built for gamers and creators to stay productive in their daily mobility activities. The ROG Zephyrus itself offers durable high performance and stunning visuals in a thin and compact body.

The New ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16

ASUS ROG renews the ROG Zephyrus line by presenting the following variants Zephyrus G14 (GU405/GA403) and Zephyrus G16 (GU606). Each variant comes with a next-generation processor and a brighter HDR monitor panel. Select variants use the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 with NPU up to 50 TOPS for local AI tasks. For the Zephyrus G14, there is also a variant using a processor AMD Ryzen AI latest generation, complete with certification Copilot+ and local AI support.

For the graphics kitchen, Zephyrus G14 support up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, while Zephyrus G16 to GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU (NVIDIA Blackwell architecture) with DLSS 4 and Frame Generation. ROG also mentions an increase in TGP GPU maximum on manual mode, G14 to 115W while G16 to 160W.

In terms of visuals and design, both carry a screen 1100 nits ROG Nebula HDR with tuning ROG Nebula HDR Engine. This screen has a color coverage of 100% DCI-P3 and color accuracy Delta E < 1 for cinema-like quality. Physically, the Zephyrus G14 variant looks premium with a aluminum chassis CNC-milled and a new lighting design called slash lighting.

In order to keep performance stable, ROG uses an approach of ROG Intelligent Cooling and liquid metal on the CPU. This ensures that the laptops remain quiet even when handling heavy work. To top it off, the battery life has both been improved for all-day use, as well as the availability of the SD card slot full-sized that content creators really need.

ROG Zephyrus Duo

ROG introduces Zephyrus Duo (GX651) dual-screen laptop with touchscreen 3K ROG Nebula HDR OLED (120Hz, response time 0.2ms). This laptop is intended for multitasking use such as gaming, streaming, and creative workflow. The laptop's processor is Next-generation Intel and support up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPUs.

In the cooling sector, this laptop uses the ROG Intelligent Cooling that incorporates vapor chamber, two fans, and graphite sheets. This combination helps keep the laptop's performance optimized, whether you're working, playing, or creating.

ROG x Kojima Productions Collaboration Presence at CES 2026

In this virtual event at CES 2026, ROG announced a collaboration with Kojima Productions through special edition devices i.e. ROG Flow Z13-KJP. 2-in-1 device inspired by the iconic mascot Ludens It is powered by AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, Radeon 8060S graphics, and NPU 50 TOPS. This device sports a touch screen 13.4-inch 2.5K ROG Nebula HDR with 180Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color coverage.

It has a tablet-sized form factor and a detachable keyboard, making it ideal for users with high mobility. In addition, the chassis design was developed with Yoji Shinkawa It features special elements such as themes in the Armoury Crate, ludens-themed wallpapers, as well as exclusive Kojima Productions packaging.

In addition to the ROG Flow Z13-KJP, there are also special edition peripherals that include:
