Trevor Belmont, the hero who once defeated Dracula, takes to the burning streets of Paris with his daughter, Rose Belmont. They carry the legendary holy whip, the Vampire Killer, to hunt down the monsters emerging from the massive castle towering over the city.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Gameplay Features Whip Action and the Arcana System

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse retains the iconic whip action of the Castlevania series. Konami says the game’s whip action system has been made more satisfying, allowing players to use the whip to move freely like a trapeze artist.

In fast-paced combat, players can use the whip mechanic to attack enemies in creative ways. In addition, the game features the Arcana System, which is linked to the bosses.

Bosses that are defeated will be sealed into Rose’s tarot cards and transformed into Arcana. These Arcana can be used to cast spells and gain unique special abilities.

Bosses, Weapons, and Relics in Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse

Players will face a number of legendary bosses from the world of Castlevania, including Death, Medusa, and Carmilla. In addition, there are also new, more mysterious bosses, such as Joan of Arc.

To suit different playstyles, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse features a variety of equipment, including weapons from seven different categories and Relics with powerful effects for both offense and defense.

Players can combine gear found during exploration to develop their own fighting styles.

Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse brings back the signature Gothic atmosphere of Castlevania with fresher, updated visuals. The game also features a map that includes new features as well as familiar elements inspired by classic Castlevania games.
