At an event held at Bengkel Space in SCBD, Jakarta, ASUS ROG officially launched ROG Zephyrus Duo (GX651) in Indonesia. This dual-screen laptop is designed for both gaming and productivity. The dual-screen design is intended for users who need a larger workspace, such as gamers, content creators, video editors, and professionals who frequently run multiple applications at once.
The ROG Zephyrus Duo is one of the most unique laptops in the ROG lineup because it features a dual-screen OLED design with two 16-inch displays. Both screens use 3K OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 0.2ms response time. The screens also support touch input and a stylus, making them suitable for a wide range of uses, from gaming and content creation to managing multiple work windows simultaneously.
Dual-Screen OLED Laptop for Multitasking
One of the key features of the ROG Zephyrus Duo is its use of two 16-inch OLED displays. The main display and the secondary display have identical specifications, namely a resolution of 3K or 2880×1800 pixels, 16:10 ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and response time 0.2 ms. Both screens are also coated Corning Gorilla Glass DXC that supports touchscreen and stylus use. This coating is designed to reduce glare, ensuring the screen remains easy on the eyes in a variety of lighting conditions.
The ROG Zephyrus Duo offers five usage modes, namely:
- Laptop Mode This laptop is used by placing the keyboard on top of one of the screens, just like a regular laptop.
- Dual-Screen Mode Using a laptop with the screen opened vertically so that the screen has a top and bottom orientation; this mode is suitable for working with two screens.
- Share Mode using a laptop by laying it flat on a table to share the screen with others.
- Tent Mode Using a laptop by folding it into a tent-like shape is ideal for presentations or for viewing content together with the person you’re talking to.
- Book Mode Using a laptop with the screen open horizontally so that it is oriented left to right is ideal for reading, writing, or tasks that require a vertical screen, such as coding.
These five modes are made possible by a mechanical hinge that can fold up to 320 degrees. In addition, this laptop is equipped with a Detachable Magnetic Keyboard that can be magnetically detached and reattached. When attached to the laptop body, the keyboard automatically charges via a Pogo Pin connector.
The ROG Zephyrus Duo's hardware
The ROG Zephyrus Duo (GX651) is powered by a processor Intel Core Ultra 9 386H. This processor has 16 cores and 16 threads, with a clock speed of up to 4.9 GHz. It features three types of cores: Performance Cores, Efficiency Cores, and Low Power Efficiency Cores. This combination is designed to maintain high performance while remaining efficient when running various tasks. This laptop is also equipped with Intel NPU with a capacity of up to 50 TOPS for local AI processing. These NPUs can help run AI-based tasks without always relying on the CPU or GPU.
In terms of graphics, this laptop is powered by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with 24GB of GDDR7 memory and a TGP of up to 150W. This combination of CPU, NPU, and GPU delivers a total platform performance of up to 1,874 TOPS. This performance is designed for high-end gaming, rendering, 8K video editing, AI processing, and professional creative applications.
To maintain the laptop's performance and temperature during use, ASUS ROG uses a cooling system ROG Intelligent Cooling. This system consists of Liquid Metal in Processors, Vapor Chamber, dual fan, and Graphite Nano-Insulated Film. The Graphite Nano-Insulated Film serves as a thermal barrier between the motherboard and the lower OLED display. This component helps distribute heat evenly so that the OLED panel is not exposed to extreme temperatures from internal components. In addition, this cooling system is also designed to reduce the risk of image retention or burn-in on the OLED display.

From June 17 to 30, 2026, purchases of this laptop through ASUS Online Store will receive the ROG SLASH Hard-Case Luggage Edition 20th Year Anniversary bundle.
