CHEEKY CHEERHYTHM will be featured at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 as a new game from Yabukaradoo / Silver Sprout Studio. The game falls under the "New Sensation Fitness Rhythm Action" genre and will be showcased in the Indie Game Corner.

This game was developed for Steam with a "Coming Soon" status. Players will take on the role of a Sensei who coaches the cheer dance team led by the main character, Iroha Shishikura.

CHEEKY CHEERHYTHM Gameplay

In CHEEKY CHEERHYTHM, players use two motion controllers with gyro sensors, similar to pom-poms. The controls are simple: just move the controllers to the beat of the music.

This system ensures that gameplay focuses not only on input timing but also on the player’s body movements. As a result, this game introduces a more physically active take on the rhythm game genre.

Player performance also affects the character animations on screen. Iroha moves using Live2D technology in real time, so the character’s responses are linked to the player’s accuracy in keeping with the rhythm.

In addition to the rhythm game sections, CHEEKY CHEERHYTHM also features drama scenes. These scenes appear between gameplay segments and depict interactions between Sensei and Iroha.

About Iroha Shishikura

Players will train Iroha Shishikura (肉倉 色羽, Shishikura Iroha) to put on the best cheer performance possible. Iroha is portrayed as a very confident student who likes to tease others and has small fangs as her distinctive visual feature.

Iroha initially had no experience with cheerleading. However, through practice with Sensei, she began to show her talent. During practice, Iroha often teased Sensei and called him a “weakling.”.

This game features over 600 original voice lines filled with cheeky and taunting dialogue. One example of the dialogue featured is “Weakling♡ Trying so hard♡ So weak♡ Your face is all red♡.”.

Iroha's character design was created by Asanagi. Meanwhile, Iroha is voiced by Hinata Yuka (陽向葵ゆか).
