New Records on Steam in 2024
In 2024, Steam recorded 18,825 new games released on its platform, surpassing the previous year's achievement of 14,311 games. Based on data from SteamDB, of these, 14,888 were limited games. Games in this category did not meet certain criteria, such as minimum sales or player engagement levels, and thus did not get full profile features. Meanwhile, another 3,937 games managed to achieve the status of full release, with recognized quality and popularity.
