Story and Trailer
Dead Account takes place in a world where spirits not only inhabit physical places, but also roam the internet. The story follows Sōji Enishiro, a 15-year-old teenager who plays a streamer with the username Aoringo.
He creates violent and provocative content to gain attention and income, which he uses to pay for his younger sister's medical treatment. In his daily life, he is known as a child who loves pudding and is very fond of his sister.
One day, Sōji was attacked by a spirit inhabiting cyberspace. After the incident, his spiritual powers were awakened and he was recruited by Miden Academy-a school that trains spirits. exorcist digital, which is an exorcist in the cyber realm.

Dead Account Manga Information
Manga Dead Account was first published in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in January 2023 before moving to a digital platform Magazine Pocket in October of the same year. As of June 2025, the series has reached its 11th volume. The English version is available digitally through K MANGA owned by Kodansha.
This manga is the work of Shizumu Watanabe, who was previously known through Real Account. Despite the common digital theme, Dead Account is a standalone project and has no direct links to previous works. Kodansha has also confirmed that the live-action film adaptation of Real Account announced in 2018 has been canceled in March 2025 for various reasons.
Dead Account combines supernatural and digital elements in one narrative, making it one of the anime scheduled to arrive in early 2026.
