Series light novel Ezogingitune's I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand has officially been announced to be getting an adaptation of anime TV. The confirmation of the project was accompanied by the reveal of the production staff, voice cast, as well as the release of the key visual.
The Story of I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand
The story centers on a hero named Luck, who makes the choice to hold off the demon horde alone so that his comrades can escape. The fight that should have been the end for him instead lasted for ten years.
Thanks to a combination of luck, skill, and ingenuity, he managed to survive and come out as the sole winner. The anime I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand will follow Luck's journey as he returns to the world and must face new dilemmas as a living legend.

The anime adaptation is scheduled to begin airing in 2026. More detailed information regarding the exact release date will be announced at a later date. Along with this announcement, key visual has been released, giving an early glimpse into the character designs and feel that the anime will have.
Production Team and Seiyuu Behind Project I Became a Legend
Animation production for this project will be handled by Gekkō studio. Hiroyuki Kanbe (Viper's Creed) will act as director, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Edens Zero) is in charge of the series composition. Meanwhile, character design was entrusted to Majiro (Macross Delta).

Journey from Web Novel to Anime Adaptation
The series began its journey as web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in June 2018. Later, the series was adapted into light novel with illustrations by DeeCHA, whose first volume was published in February 2019.
The manga adaptation, illustrated by Chaco Abeno with composition by Kitsune Tennoji, launched through Square Enix's Manga UP! service in August 2019.
To date, the total circulation for the entire series has surpassed 4.25 million copies, demonstrating its significant popularity before being adapted into an anime.
