Kingdom Hearts Collection [I–III] will launch on October 8, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2. Square Enix is releasing this bundle as a collection of the series’ three main compilations Kingdom Hearts which covers the Dark Seeker Saga. The three packages will also be sold separately.

Contents of the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I–III]

This collection is divided into three main packages that cover the series' storyline from the beginning of Sora's journey to the conclusion of the Dark Seeker Saga.

Key Points About the Release

In addition to the list game In addition to the titles included in the collection, Square Enix has also confirmed several other details regarding this release.

  • Demo Kingdom Hearts III + Re:Mind It's now available for Switch 2 via the Nintendo eShop.
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will receive textural updates.
  • Purchase Kingdom Hearts III + Re:Mind or bundle Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece on the new platform will offer an exclusive Keyblade Dead of Night.
  • The PC versions of these three packages will also be available through the Microsoft Store.

Previously, these three packs were already available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. With this release, access has been expanded to current-generation platforms.

Transition from Cloud Version to Switch 2

Along with this announcement, Square Enix also confirmed changes to the cloud version for the first-generation Switch. Sales of the cloud version will end on June 9, 2026, but the servers will remain active until June 9, 2027.

For players who previously purchased the cloud version, Square Enix has prepared a transition path to Switch 2, as follows:

  • discount on the digital version for Switch 2
  • Transfer save data from the cloud version to Switch 2

This point is important because the new release on the Switch 2 is available in native format, not via the cloud.

Native Release Takes Center Stage at Nintendo

Still on the topic of Nintendo platforms, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will also receive a native release on the Switch alongside the launch of this collection.

This means that Nintendo players are no longer limited to the cloud version to access this series. The ability to transfer saves from the cloud version to the Switch 2 also provides a smoother transition for longtime players.

Kingdom Hearts Collection [I–III] will be released as a package that brings together the essence of the series’ journey in a single release. For players who want to revisit the Dark Seeker Saga on current-generation platforms, this collection will be available starting October 8, 2026.
