Anime My Awkward Senpai announced a number of updates ahead of its October 2025 airing. These updates include the release of the official trailer, the introduction of the opening song, and three additional voice actors who will be joining the anime project.
Story and Trailer
The official trailer features the main character Azusa Kannawa and plays the opening "Bukiyo na I love you" performed by angela. The video also introduces three new characters that will appear in the series.
Anime My Awkward Senpai tells the story of Azusa Kannawa, a senpai known for his unruly personality. He meets Kamegawa, a kouhai who is cute and easy to talk to. The relationship between the two becomes the main focus in the development of the story.

About My Awkward Senpai
The anime is adapted from a manga by Makoto Kudo, which was originally published as a webcomic through the creator's Twitter/X account. The series was later licensed and published in English by Comikey, and is available digitally through Square Enix's Manga UP! Global app owned by Square Enix.
This latest information was announced ahead of the anime's official airing in Fall 2025.
