Good Smile Company has officially announced a new line of PlayStation Portable (PSP)-themed merchandise as part of its 30th anniversary celebration. PlayStation. For those of you who grew up with this handheld console, two collectible items in the form of an acrylic stand and a keychain will be released soon.
Merchandise Design Based on PSP-1000 Model
This product adapts the design of the PSP-1000 model, which was the first version of the PlayStation handheld console released in 2004. Good Smile Company prepared two color variants, namely black and Ceramic White.
Both the acrylic stand and keychain have a PSP-like shape with a hollow center, creating the appearance of a blank screen. In that section, there are small acrylic cutouts that resemble interface icons. Each product features a front and back design similar to the original device.
Interactive Rattle Feature with UI Icons
The main feature of this merchandise is the acrylic icon pieces on the screen that can move freely when shaken. This effect brings sounds and movements such as shaker, so the Good Smile Company refers to it as PSP Rattle Acrylic Stand and PSP Rattle Acrylic Keychain.
The acrylic stand will feature icons in monochrome colors, while the keychain version uses brightly colored cutouts representing PlayStation buttons: triangles, circles, crosses, and squares.
Product Details and Price
There will be four variants of merchandise released, reflecting the two color versions of the classic handheld console. Each category-acrylic stand and keychain-is presented in black and white options.

The price for the acrylic stand is set at ¥1,760 (approximately USD $12), while the keychain is priced at ¥1,320 (approximately USD $9). The exact sizes have not yet been announced, and additional information regarding the product specifications is not yet available.
