Everybubble Bobble Puzzle! is coming to PC via Steam on April 23. Game was previously released on Nintendo Switch on May 23, 2023, and now brings the same game package to a new platform. Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! also remains as the latest entry in the widely-recognized action-puzzle series, including under the other names Bust-A-Move.
In this game, you'll meet Bub and his friends again. The main objective is to clear the bubbles that cover Rainbow Island and restore peace there. Arc System Works and TAITO made an appearance in this PC version announcement, while the core brought to Steam remains centered on the classic gameplay and game modes already set up.
Gameplay Keeps the Classic Bubble Shooter Formula
Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! still uses the bubble shooter formula that has long been associated with the series. The gameplay is still centered on shooting bubbles, matching colors, and then clearing the bubble arrays that fill the game area.
This structure keeps the identity of Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! clear. It doesn't abandon the series' roots, and still puts puzzle action at the core of the gaming experience. The names Puzzle Bobble and Bust-A-Move are still closely connected, with instantly recognizable play patterns.
Story-wise, the game takes you along with Bub and other characters as Rainbow Island is covered in bubbles. From there, the player's journey moves on with the goal of clearing the affected areas and restoring calm to the island. This path forms the basis of the Story Mode that ties the game's progress from one section to the next.
Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! is also said to deliver the most dense content in the series to date. The spotlight is on a wider world, unique characters, and a larger portion of the story than previous entries. So, not only does this version retain the classic play pattern, but it also comes with a larger scope of content in the package.
One of the most notable points is the story mode. For the first time in the Puzzle Bobble series, Story Mode can be played by up to four players in local cooperative play. This part makes Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! not only focus on solo play, but also gives greater room for co-op play.
Features on PC Include Local Co-Op and Online Matches
In addition to the main gameplay, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! on PC also comes with several modes and features that expand the way you play. So, the game doesn't stop at Story Mode, but also includes local battles, online duels, and a global leaderboard.

On the local play side, the game brings Co-Op Story Mode for up to four players, and then adds Two-Versus-Two Team Battles as a team battle format in local play. These two modes provide different play options, both for cooperation and direct competition in the same place.
For the online competitive side, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! also features Online Duels that pits players in 1-vs-1 matches. Afterwards, scores can be compared via Global Rankings, so game results are also linked to a leaderboard that includes players from different regions.
Another feature that was mentioned was Password Matchmaking. This feature is used to play online with friends who are far away. With that said, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! also provides a more direct way to enter matches with friends.
Another addition to the PC version is the Puzzle Bobble vs. Space Invaders collaboration mini-game. This content comes as part of the 45th Anniversary Space Invaders celebration. So, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! on Steam also continues to bring the crossover already included in the game package.

Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! will be released for PC via Steam on April 23. This PC version comes after the Switch release on May 23, 2023.
With the schedule already set, Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! is now just waiting for its launch on Steam. For those of you waiting for the PC version, the game comes with classic gameplay retained, a full selection of modes, and a crossover brought along in the same release.
