Sony Interactive Entertainment and Oh BiBi are ending development of Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble, a free-to-play multiplayer arena shooter for iOS and Android.
Shutdown Schedule and Player Impact
According to Oh BiBi’s official statement, the final update began rolling out on November 6, 2026 on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The official FAQ adds that no further updates are planned after November 7, 2026. Pre-registration rewards are available to players who log in for the November 7, 2026 update and can be found in the Inbox.
The app will be removed from storefronts on November 21, 2026, so new players will no longer be able to download it. Players who already have it installed can keep playing until servers shut down permanently on May 1, 2027. After that End of Service, the game will no longer load and all player data on the servers will be deleted.
Current game modes, matchmaking, and competitive features remain active until May 1, 2027. The Qwark Pass season continues through the same date, and the Super Pass is now free, with all of its content earnable through play.
In-app purchases have already been disabled. Players can still spend owned currencies on upgrades, cosmetics, characters, and in-game currency through End of Service. Progress, purchases, and items cannot be transferred to another game.
Refunds for prior purchases depend on Apple App Store or Google Play policy. Per the official statement, ending development does not affect other Ratchet & Clank games or PlayStation services.
