Kuro Games will launch Version 3.8 of Wuthering Waves titled “Lilies in a Dying Dream” on November 12, 2026. The update brings new Resonator Lily, a continued main quest, a new Tactical Hologram challenge, a slate of events, and assorted PC and console optimizations.
Story, Challenges, and New Resonator
Version 3.8 continues the story with Main Quest Chapter IV Act V “A Bouquet for Tomorrow.” The new Tactical Hologram: Calamity Effigy challenge is also added. New Resonator Lily arrives alongside the new weapon Lullaby.
Hiyuki’s deluxe outfit “Lune Noire” and her accessory “Flaming Sakura” are included as well.

Rover, Guidebook, Animation, PC, and Console Optimizations
The Resonance Conversion page for Rover is updated with a cleaner interface. After conversion, the equipped Echo set automatically switches to the set matching that Resonance Attribute. Rover can use a separate Echo set for each attribute.
On the Guidebook Material Collection page and Resonator Ascension Planner, the Material Locator button helps teleport to unlocked material challenges or start them immediately. After a material challenge, Blitz Mode lets players retry without reloading.
Resonator animations are also optimized, especially turning in place, movement transitions, and hit reactions.
On PC, the launcher offers Full Resources or Basic Resources options, plus improved Resource Cleanup for storage management. These features roll out gradually through limited testing.
On supported consoles, players can choose Performance or Quality under Graphics Quality. Those options are currently unavailable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S. On PlayStation 5 Pro, PSSR can be enabled to raise resolution up to 4K.
