PC version of Stellar Blade was finally announced indirectly through a trailer that Sony Interactive Entertainment had uploaded before being deleted. The action RPG game from Shift Up, which was previously only available on PS5, is now confirmed to launch on PC in June. The leaked trailer reveals various new features, additional content, and possible story expansions that you should look forward to.

Releases on Steam in Complete Edition Format

PC version of Stellar Blade scheduled for release on June 11, 2025 via Steam. The versions that will be available are Complete Edition which includes base game and all DLC which has already been released. In addition to PC, the full version will also be available for PS5 users so that console players can access all content without a separate purchase.

This move gives new and existing players full access to the entire game in one complete package.

Feature Enhancements for Maximum Performance on PC

Shift Up brings special technical enhancements to PC version of Stellar Blade by utilizing modern hardware capabilities. Some of the confirmed features include:

  • Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3 for AI-based performance and visual quality enhancement
  • Unlocked framerate for a gaming experience without frame rate limitations
  • Ultrawide display support for widescreen display
  • High-resolution environmental textures for sharper visual details

New Content: Additional Bosses and 25 Costumes

The leaked trailer also features new content that hasn't been available in the previous base version. One of the main highlights is the fight against a new boss named Mann, the leader of the Sentinel group.

In addition, there will be 25 additional costumes for the main character Eve. Although not officially confirmed, the community suspects that these costumes will also be released for the PS5 version.

The scene at the end of the trailer shows Eve releasing a memory stick-this scene does not appear in the base version. This has sparked speculation that there could be a new ending or additional DLC in the near future.

Commercial Performance and Future Directions

Since its launch on PS5 in April 2024, Stellar Blade has recorded solid sales performance. In its latest financial report, Shift Up announced that the game has generated royalties of $43 million, with sales of over 1 million copies in the first two months.

Shift Up stated that they are optimistic that the PC version will surpass the sales of the PS5 version. The studio also mentioned that it is considering developing a follow-up game in the Stellar Blade franchise.

Launch of PC version of Stellar Blade June 11 marks a new chapter for this action RPG game. With improved technical features, new content, and possible story expansions, this version is an interesting option for those of you who haven't tried it on PS5. For longtime players, the additional content could be a reason to enjoy another adventure with Eve.
