Anime Your Forma attracted even more attention after REMOW released promotional video (PV). The video features story footage, introduces the seiyuu lineup, and reveals the opening song titled "GRIDOUT", which was hosted by yama.
The anime is scheduled to air on April 2 and will directly adapt Volume 2 of the light novel-which focuses on Harold W. Lucraft's background as well as the origins of the android group RF Amicus.
The World in Your Forma
In the alternate world of 2023, Your Forma technology has become an indispensable part of human life. Originally developed to deal with an outbreak of viral encephalitis, the system based on the smart thread It is capable of recording every user experience-from sight, to sound, to emotion.
As an Electronic Investigator, Echika Hieda is tasked with investigating crimes by diving into people's memories via Your Forma to uncover hidden evidence. However, his extraordinary skills became a problem. The assistants who worked with him often suffered brain damage due to too much mental stress, causing him to lose colleagues repeatedly.
As a solution, the leadership finally assigned Harold W. Lucraft, an android Amicus who has the ability to match Echika's speed of analysis. However, their partnership is colored by suspicion and tension, especially as Harold's background remains a mystery. Meanwhile, a new threat emerges-a dangerous technological infection with the potential to spread widely and threaten the world.

Production Team and Seiyuu
The anime is produced by Geno Studio and Twin Engine, with Takaharu Ozaki as the director. Ozaki previously worked on Girls' Last Tour, Goblin Slayer, and BASTARD!!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy.
The series composition was handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, who is known for his That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Shangri-La Frontier. The character design was entrusted to Chikashi Kadekaru, while the music was done by Tatsuya Katō, who previously handled the music. Love Live! Sunshine!!, Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, and Trigun Stampede.

Adaptation Starting with Volume 2: A Straightforward Approach to the Heart of the Story
Different from most anime adaptations that start the story from the first volume light novel, Your Forma takes a different approach. This adaptation starts straight from Volume 2, which focuses on Harold's background and the origins of the RF Amicus android group.
In this story, Harold and his "brother" are suspected of being involved in a major criminal case. By picking up the plot from the second volume, the anime will present a deeper conflict from the start, without much lengthy character introduction. This approach is expected to immediately capture the audience's attention with a more intense and mysterious narrative.
The Origin of Your Forma: From Light Novel to Anime Adaptation
Your Forma comes from light novel by Mareho Kikuishi with illustrations by Tsubata Nozaki. The novel was first published in March 2021 under the Dengeki Bunko label and won the 27th Dengeki Novel Prize. To date, the series has had six volumes, with the latest volume released in August 2023.
In addition to the novel version, Your Forma also received a manga adaptation by Yoshinori Kisaragi. The series was first published in Young Ace in June 2021 and ends in September 2023 with a total of three volumes.
