The long-awaited update on the adaptation of anime Witch Hat Atelier finally arrived. A teaser trailer has been released, confirming that the anime is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2026, as well as introducing the production staff and main voice actors.
Latest Trailer and Story Synopsis
Teaser trailer has been released featuring visuals for the main characters, Coco and Qifrey, as well as officially announcing an airdate of April 2026. This schedule is an adjustment from the original plan of 2025, a decision made by the production team to ensure the anime can be presented in the highest quality possible.
As for the story, it takes you to a world where magic and dragons are commonplace. There, a girl named Coco has a simple dream: to become a witch. However, common belief holds that magical ability is an inherited talent, not something that can be learned. Not having been born with the talent, Coco almost gave up her dream.
Everything changes when she meets Qifrey, a mysterious traveling witch. After secretly witnessing Qifrey use magic in unusual ways, Coco begins to understand that the truth about magic may be different from what she knows, and her chance to become a witch is not completely closed.
