Story
The story follows Lloyd, a White Mage who was kicked out of the hero group (Yusha Party). After the expulsion, he coincidentally joined a group of adventurers S-Rank on a mission. Lloyd thinks of himself as an ordinary adventurer, but in reality, he has unparalleled abilities.
At that time, no one realized that the group of heroes who had eliminated him was about to collapse, while Lloyd was getting recognized and acknowledged. This is the story of a magic support with extraordinary powers who still considers himself ordinary, without realizing how he is slowly becoming an unparalleled figure in the world of adventure.

The anime adaptation was first announced in July 2024, followed by the first visual reveal in November 2024. Felix Film was appointed as the studio handling the animation, with Hiroshi Tamada as the director. Tamada has previously worked on several anime projects such as Bakusō Kyōdai Let's Go!!!, Glass Fleet, and The Heroic Legend of Arslan OVA.
Akihiko Inari is credited as the screenwriter, having previously worked on Chōyū Sekai: Being the Reality and Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement. The character design was handled by Yūta Itō, who also played a role in the Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement as a sub-character designer.

Background
This story is from a web novel first published by Suigetsu on the site Shōsetsuka ni Narō in March 2020. Seeing considerable enthusiasm, Futabasha began publishing a light novel version with illustrations by DeeCHA in November 2020. The series has now reached its seventh volume, which was released on November 29, 2023.
In addition to the light novel format, the story also received a manga adaptation by Wasabi Mukuno. The manga was launched on the website Gaugau Monster owned by Futabasha since January 2021 and has reached its eighth volume in November 2023.
