For illustrators, mangaka, and voice talents who want to showcase their creativity, DouDoudoujin Fanart & Voice Contest is an exciting event. The competition provides an opportunity for participants to develop their talents through manga-based fanart and voice-over.

What is the DouDoudoujin Fanart & Voice Contest?
DouDoudoujin Fanart & Voice Contest is a competition that is divided into two categories: Fanart Contest and Voice Contest.
Each participant can choose one of the three categories based on the following mangaka works:
- Category 1 - Yano Toshinori with The Scary Female Boss Who Will Gradually Become Happier
- Category 2 - Neda Hirofumi with My Father Turned Into a Beautiful Girl and Life Got Complicated!
- Category 3 - Yagi-kun with The King of Massacre
In this competition, budding illustrators and mangaka can develop fanart or fanmanga, while voice talents have the opportunity to create a voice-over of one of the selected manga scenes.
Period and How to Participate
The competition takes place in several stages, starting from the submission period to the announcement of the winners. Here is an important schedule that participants need to be aware of:
- Collection Period: February 28, 2025 (00:00 JST) - April 20, 2025 (23:59 JST)
- Winner Announcement: April 28, 2025
- Winner Promotion at Comifuro XX: May 24-25, 2025

Fanart Contest
Participants in this category are asked to create a fanart or fanmanga based on one of the available works, and then share it online.
To participate, participants must:
- Create fanart or fanmanga of one of the selected works.
- Upload the work on social media during the submission period.
- Follow the official DouDoujin account on Twitter (@Doudoujin_PR) or Instagram (@DouDoujin_official).
- Sign up via Google Form after creating an account on the DouDoujin website.
Fanart Contest Prizes and Judging
Prizes will be awarded to the first place winner in each category, so there will be three winners in this competition.
The winners will be chosen by the individual mangaka whose works are the basis of the competition.
The prizes that will be awarded to the first place winners in each category are as follows:
- Category 1 - "The Scary Female Boss Who Will Gradually Become Happier": IDR 10,000,000
- Category 2 - "My Father Turned Into a Beautiful Girl and Life Got Complicated!": IDR 10,000,000
- Category 3 - "The King of Massacre": IDR 10,000,000
Fanart Contest Jury
Judging in the Fanart Contest will be done by the mangaka whose works are the basis of the competition.
They will also be present at Comifuro XX as part of the event:
- Yano Toshinori - Mangaka who publishes his work on social media and distributes it independently.
- Neda Hirofumi - Has been a mangaka assistant My Hero Academiais now creating manga with a unique concept. Also a member of MENSA.
- Yagi-kun - Using a pen name with a double meaning, "Yagi" means goat in Japanese, as well as referring to "GOAT" (Greatest of All Time).
Voice Contest
Participants in this category will create a voice-over of one of the selected manga scenes and share it online.
The registration process is as follows:
- Create voice-over from one of the selected manga within the submission period.
- Upload the footage on the DouDoujin platform and share it on social media.
- Follow DouDoujin's official account on Twitter/X (@Doudoujin_PR) or Instagram (@DouDoujin_official).
- Fill out the Google Form by individual or team category to complete the registration.
Voice Contest Prizes and Judging
Unlike the Fanart Contest, the winner of the Voice Contest will be determined based on the highest number of likes on the platform. DouDoujin.
The first place winners in each category will receive the following prizes:
- Category 1 - "The Scary Female Boss Who Will Gradually Become Happier": IDR 1,000,000
- Category 2 - "My Father Turned Into a Beautiful Girl and Life Got Complicated!": IDR 1,000,000

Collaboration Opportunities with Publishers in the United States
In addition to the grand prize, talented participants have the opportunity to receive commissions from publishers in the United States. This process is not automatic, but based on additional evaluation of the submitted works. The competition is also part of a long-term effort to open up opportunities for illustrators and mangaka to expand their professional networks.
