Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake previously reported to have exceeded 2 million units less than one month after its release. This figure shows the high enthusiasm of fans of the Dragon Quest series who have long awaited a remake of this classic game in a more modern visual format.
Meanwhile, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake which was released more recently contributed significantly to the combined total that now stands at 4 million units. These two games together form what is known as the “Erdrick Trilogy” in the Dragon Quest series.
