Ubisoft has just launched the first story expansion Assassin's Creed Shadows which is titled Claws of Awaji. The expansion will be available starting September 17, 2025 across multiple platforms, including Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, macOS, and PC. The new content takes players on an entirely new adventure, continuing the story of the main game.
A New Adventure on Awaji Island
In Claws of Awajia new adventure awaits Naoe and Yasuke. The story begins when Naoe tracks down a mysterious shinobi who leads him to Awaji Island. There, together with Yasuke, you will face off against a ruthless new enemy faction called Sanzoku Ippa, which threatens the peace of the island.
Ubisoft Bordeaux, the development studio, promises more than 10 hours of gameplay. Keep in mind, in order to play this expansion, you'll need to complete the main storyline of the game. Assassin's Creed Shadows first.
New Content and Features for Players
