Clash of Clans has officially teamed up with WWE to bring you collaborations throughout the month of April. The game's developer, Supercell, announced that WWE Superstars will make in-game and out-of-game appearances through special content. The collaboration will culminate in a sponsored match at WrestleMania 41 held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

WWE Superstars Become Clash of Clans Characters

In this collaboration, a number of WWE Superstars such as Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, The Undertaker, Bianca Belair, and others get a special look as iconic characters in the Clash of Clans world. The WWE-themed experience has started since Tuesday, April 1, and runs throughout the month. Players can enjoy a variety of thematic content designed specifically to celebrate this collaboration.

Cody Rhodes takes center stage in this collaboration. He appears in-game as the "Barbarian King" with the player name "OverlordRhodes", a name he has been using for a long time. Cody is known to have been playing Clash of Clans for almost a decade and is among the top 10% players in the world. He is also present in the launch video of this collaboration, showcasing his brutal, destructive and dominating playstyle.

In his statement, Cody Rhodes said, "I've spent years building my fame in WWE. Now it's time for the fans to know where I got most of my glory, and that's in Clash of Clans. As OverlordRhodes, I don't defend, I conquer. Villages will fall and opponents will crumble under my command. Winning on the battlefield is more important than sportsmanship in the ring. In the same spirit, at WrestleMania 41 I step out with one goal - to win decisively. I've waited a long time for this moment, and nothing will stop me."

Superstar Characters and Roles in the Game

Each WWE Superstar comes to the game as a character customized to the visual style and theme of Clash of Clans.

The full list of their roles is as follows:

  • Rhea Ripley as the "Queen of Archers"
  • The Undertaker as the "Great Guardian"
  • Bianca Belair as "Jawara Royale"
  • Rey Mysterio as "Prince Minion"
  • Kane as "P.E.K.K.A"
  • Becky Lynch as "Valkyrie"
  • Jey Uso as "Thrower"

These characters are available for the duration of the collaboration. Each role is designed to reflect the characteristics of WWE Superstars in a fantasy version of Clash of Clans.

Clash of Clans' Biggest Collaboration

This collaboration is being called the biggest project Supercell has ever done for Clash of Clans. This was stated by Sara Bach, Director of Active Games at Supercell, in a statement, "When the game team heard that Cody Rhodes and other WWE Superstars were veteran Clash of Clans fans, they immediately reached out to WWE. This partnership is the biggest we've ever done on Clash of Clans - from in-game events reaching millions of players to WrestleMania 41 and Clash of Clans being the first event on a stage of this magnitude."

Throughout April, players can explore a variety of visual elements and in-game challenges infused with WWE themes. With the presence of iconic characters, direct involvement from Superstars, and specially designed in-game events, this collaboration is one of the defining moments in Clash of Clans history.
