Official website for adaptation anime I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day has just updated information regarding its production. The announcement confirmed that the series is scheduled to premiere in July.
Studio Roll2 is entrusted to handle the animation production of this story. The series is projected to be one of the titles in the Summer 2026 anime lineup.
Atmosphere dark fantasy is the main element offered to the audience. This update also reveals the core staff that will be working behind the scenes.

Synopsis of I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day
The story centers on a mysterious orphanage that keeps a big secret behind its walls. The facility actually serves as a military school for training young girls.
They have no families and are raised specifically as weapons of war. The girls are taught to kill without hesitation and take the lives of others for the sake of the mission.
However, Sheena has a different view and only wants the conflict around her to end. Sheena's life changes drastically when her roommate dies.
On the night of the incident, she encounters a strange girl covered in blood who smiles amidst the chaos. The girl later appears as a new student in Sheena's class and introduces herself as Mimi.
Rumors soon circulate in the dorm hallways that Mimi is an immortal secret weapon. Things get even more complicated when Mimi is assigned to be Sheena's new roommate.
Their relationship grows amidst despair, where Sheena wants to stop death while Mimi welcomes it. The dynamics of love yuri they thrive amidst bloodshed and endless wars.

This announcement brings important details about the updated production staff. Yasushi Tomoda is now a full Director, replacing his previous position as Assistant Director.
Takudai Kakuchi, who previously directed movie pilot, switched to the role of Creative Advisor. The series script was handled by Jukki Hanada, a writer known for his work on Sound! Euphonium and Love Live!.
