Official website for adaptation anime from Mika Yamamori's manga, In the Clear Moonlit Dusk (Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki), has started airing its first promotional video.
The video not only showcases the latest visuals, but also reveals the anime's debut date. This update provides reassurance for fans who are looking forward to the series' presence in the upcoming Winter season.
Story and Trailer of In the Clear Moonlit Dusk
The main focus of the story is on the character Yoi Takiguchi. He has long legs, a heavy voice, and a handsome face.
The physical combination makes Yoi look so attractive that most people don't realize or care that he is actually a girl. Yoi has even had the nickname “Prince” for as long as he can remember.
Yoi's life begins to change when she meets Ichimura-senpai. He is the only person who seems to truly see Yoi as himself. Ichimura doesn't see Yoi only from the prince image attached to him.
Yoi was shocked and unsure of how to handle this new relationship. The situation becomes even more complicated as her new friend also turns out to be a prince in the school, a boy prince to be exact. The story will highlight the journey of these two high school “princes” starting from here.
The newly released promotional video reveals that the anime will premiere on January 11. In the video, you can hear a snippet of the opening song “Uruwashi” (Beautiful). The song is performed by Unison Square Garden. The rock band is also confirmed to perform the closing song titled “Azalea no Kaze” (Azalea Wind).
Unison Square Garden's involvement in this project is quite special. The band members are known to be fans of Yamamori's works. They even created both theme songs specifically for this anime. Unison Square Garden first performed the song “Uruwashi” during their “Unison Square Garden 2025-2026” tour.

Mika Yamamori first launched the manga In the Clear Moonlit Dusk (Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki) in the magazine Dessert in 2020. To date, the series continues and Kodansha has published the ninth volume of the compilation book on May 13.
The story quality of this manga has been widely recognized. This is evident in its achievement of being ranked 11th on the list of manga for female readers. The ranking was recorded in the guidebook Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) 2023 edition from Takarajimasha.
