Anime adaptation The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows (Isshun de Chiryō Shiteita no ni Yakutatazu to Tsuihō Sareta Tensai Chiyushi, Yami Healer to Shite Tanoshiku Ikiru) has announced its official air date. Studio Macaria confirmed that the anime will begin airing on April 3, 2025, along with the release of the main trailer that shows more footage of the story and characters that will be present.

Story The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows centers on Zenos, a man born into poverty. Since childhood, he had to face limitations due to his social status. However, his life changes when he meets a Healer who inspires him to learn healing magic.
After years of training, Zenos got the chance to join an adventuring party. Initially, he believed that this was the beginning of his successful journey. However, his comrades never appreciated his abilities. They utilized his healing magic without acknowledging him, eventually deciding to kick him out after no longer needing his services.
Left with no money and nowhere to go, Zenos set up an underground clinic, where he treated people who had no access to medical care. His extraordinary abilities began to attract the attention of many, including royalty. As his name became more recognized, Zenos had to face new challenges. Now, the question is: Can he survive and build a new life in a system that has rejected him?

Background: From Light Novel to Anime Adaptation
This anime is adapted from light novel by Sakaku Hishikawa, with illustrations by Daburyu. This novel was first published on the platform Shosetsuka ni Naro in November 2020, before being acquired by SB Creative and published in print format in October 2021.
