Save My Scrap has finally revealed its release details for PC and console. Game A blend of visual novel and puzzle, this story of android repair slowly turns into a journey into old memories, relationships between characters, and truths that have been held back.
Developer Unio Anou and Publisher AMATA Games has also set a phased release schedule for each platform. PC will be the first to get Save My Scrap, followed by PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series in the following weeks.
Story Save My Scrap
In Save My Scrap, you play as an android mechanic who receives a request from a new client. That client is Miomaru, a doctor, and his personal android, Harima, an older model that's nearing the limits of functionality.
At first, the task seems simple. You are asked to repair Harima by connecting cables, replacing parts, and restoring previously broken functions. From the outside, the job looks like an ordinary mechanical repair.
However, the repair process then moves into a deeper direction. The further you get involved with Miomaru and Harima, the clearer it becomes that it's not just a broken android body you're dealing with. The wires that are connected and the parts that are replaced also help unlock memories that they've been trying to forget.
Once the job is done, you'll be faced with shocking truths and emotional requests from the two characters. This premise positions Save My Scrap not only as a game about android repair, but also about personal relationships, the past, and memories that resurface during the repair process.
