The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel is said to still need more than two years before release. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier shared that estimate on Bluesky after Bethesda revealed the game’s subtitle, as reported by PC Gamer.
Bethesda itself has not announced a release date or platforms. Via the official Bethesda Game Studios account, the studio said development is still underway and it is not yet ready to share further information. Schreier’s estimate is not an official Bethesda schedule.

Fan Reactions
Among reactions gathered by PC Gamer, some fans took Schreier’s remarks with understanding. Others doubt them and treat the “more than two years” estimate as mere speculation.
Other fans question why Bethesda revealed the Sentinel title now if the game is still far from release. Hopes for a 2027 launch also come from fan speculation around a Skyrim trailer for Nintendo Switch 2—not from any Bethesda schedule announcement.
