Adaptation anime for manga titles The Ramparts of Ice (Koori no Jyoheki) has been officially announced. This information was released along with visual teasers and the first trailer featuring the main cast of characters. The anime project is scheduled to air in April 2026.
The Ramparts of Ice Story and Trailer
Story The Ramparts of Ice centers on Koyuki Hikawa, a first-year high school student known as "Queen" for her cold nature. She tends to avoid socializing and only spends time with her childhood friend, Miki Azumi.
Her life begins to change when a friendly classmate tries to get close to her. Together with Minato Amamiya and Yota Hino, these four characters go through high school life and form a friendship.
The released trailer introduces an early look at the plot and interactions between the characters.

The Ramparts of Ice is a Japanese web manga created by Kocha Agasawa. The title first debuted as a digital webtoon before being serialized on digital comic platform Line Manga.
The manga serialization started on January 10, 2020 and finished on April 28, 2022. With this announcement, the story that was previously present in manga format will now be adapted into anime form.
