Anime Summer 2025 presents a number of new genre titles adventure that cover a wide range of themes, from time travel, to magic adventures, to science-based explorations. Here are the six titles that have been confirmed to air and fall into the following categories adventure for this season.
6. Uglymug, Epicfighter
Uglymug, Epicfighter (Busamen Gachi Fighter) tells the story of Shigeru, a former salesman who was reincarnated into another world in a very unattractive body condition. His appearance is rated -255, contact with women causes pain, and sexual activity can even make his body break.
In return, he gains incredible physical strength. The anime follows Shigeru's adventures as he takes on the challenges of a new world, using powers far beyond those of normal humans even as he continues to carry unique and difficult physical limitations.
5. New Saga
New Saga (Tsuyokute New Saga) following the story of Kyle, a magic knight who went back in time after defeating the Demon King. With knowledge from the future, Kyle seeks to change destiny and prevent the same destruction from happening again.
The anime highlights how Kyle forms new alliances, devises strategies, and faces familiar conflicts. All his moves are aimed at creating a different future for a world on the verge of collapse.
4. Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer!
Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer! (Yuusha Party wo Tsuihou sareta Shiromadoushi, S-Rank Boukensha ni Hirowareru ~Kono Shiromadoushi ga Kikakugai Sugiru~) tells the story of Lloyd, a White Mage that was removed from Yuusha Party because it was considered useless. Afterward, he joined a group of adventurers by accident S-Rank in a mission.
Lloyd actually possesses powerful magical abilities, but he doesn't realize it. As his old group begins to crumble, Lloyd grows into an increasingly recognized figure in the world of adventure, without losing his humble attitude.
3. The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4
The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 (Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari Season 4) continues Naofumi Iwatani's story after his great battle against the Object. He prepares to face Phoenix, one of the Four Guardian Beastsby searching for and reconciling with the other three heroes.
A conflict arises when the country of Q'ten Lo thinks Raphtalia will usurp their throne and sends assassins to eliminate her. Naofumi heads to Siltvelt, the only country that can transport him to Q'ten Lo, where Raphtalia becomes a symbol of revolution amidst an unstable political situation.
2. Ruri Rocks
Ruri Rocks (Ruri no Houseki) follows Ruri Tanigawa, a high school student who loves shiny things and decides to go to the mountains in search of crystals. There, she meets Nagi Arato, a graduate student majoring in mineralogy, who introduces her to the world of mineral collecting.
With Nagi's guidance, Ruri learns about the types of minerals and the meaning behind their crystalline forms. The anime shows Ruri's exploration and learning process as a newcomer to the world of natural rock collecting.
1. Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE Cour 2
Dr. STONE SCIENCE FUTURE Cour 2 is the second part of the fourth and final season of anime Dr. STONE. The story continues the journey of Senku and his team after completing the mission on Treasure Island, then arriving in America to search for essential materials for the space project to the Moon.
There, they face challenges from a new group of enemies with advanced technology such as airplanes, lie detectors, and firearms. This cour shows the conflict between Senku's science-based approach and the new forces emerging from the opposing side.
