David Gaider is collaborating on several narrative aspects of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn with Owlcat Games. The former BioWare writer revealed his involvement in a Bluesky post, without specifying which parts of the story he is working on.
Gaider is known as the lead writer of Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age II, and Dragon Age: Inquisition. After leaving BioWare, he founded Summerfall Studios, which released Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical. According to Gaider, his collaboration with Owlcat runs alongside his work at Summerfall.
New Voice Actor for the Male Protagonist
Owlcat Games has also recently replaced the male protagonist’s voice actor following beta feedback. Blythe Melin now voices both the male captain and his twin brother, J. Both characters’ default appearances have also been updated, although players can still customize the protagonist’s appearance.
About The Expanse: Osiris Reborn
The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is a third-person action RPG from Owlcat Games set in the universe of the series The Expanse. Players take the role of a Pinkwater Security mercenary trapped in a lockdown on the asteroid Eros, before being drawn into a solar system-wide conspiracy. Players create a captain of Earther, Martian, or Belter origin and lead a ship’s crew.
Combat focuses on cover-based gunplay and abilities. Two companions join you in the field while the rest of the crew provides support from a distance, and players can issue commands in real time.
